Tunewise support
Tunewise is a Chrome extension that hides the distracting parts of YouTube: Shorts, recommendations, comments, sponsored items and more, page by page. It can also dim or hide videos you have already watched.
Report a bug or request a feature
Write to ozdev.tech@gmail.com. Please include:
- the Tunewise version (from chrome://extensions);
- your Chrome version;
- the page where it happens (Home, Video, Search, Subscriptions, Channel, left sidebar) and, if you can, a link and a screenshot.
YouTube changes its pages from time to time. If an option suddenly stops working, that is the most useful report.
Common questions
An option does nothing on the Home page. When you are signed out, YouTube may show an empty Home page, so there is nothing to hide. Try the option while signed in.
I want to see YouTube as it is for a moment. Open the Tunewise popup, go to Settings and switch Tunewise off. Your choices are kept for when you switch it back on.
How do I move my settings to another computer? They sync through Chrome when you are signed in. You can also use Settings → Export and Import.

Tunewise collects no personal data and sends nothing anywhere. Read the full privacy policy.
